Frederique Bauer

Head of School

Frederique Bauer is an experienced educator and school leader with a deep commitment to bilingual education, academic excellence, and student success. Originally from Cannes, France, she holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Modern Literature, a teaching credential from the French Ministry of Education, and a French certification in teacher training with a Second Language emphasis. After building a strong foundation in pedagogy and developing a passion for helping young learners grow and thrive, Frederique discovered her dedication to bilingual and international education. Over the years, she has held a range of leadership roles, including Pedagogical Director and Advisor, where she designed and implemented bilingual programs, supported teacher training, guided curriculum development, and helped ensure compliance with accreditation standards.


As Head of School at the International School of Orange County, Frederique is dedicated to fostering a culture of curiosity, belonging, and high achievement. She is passionate about empowering educators, building a strong and collaborative school community, and creating a nurturing, inclusive environment where every child is challenged, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential. Fluent in French and English, she values the rich cultural diversity of the iSchoolOC community and the meaningful partnerships between families and educators. Outside of school, she enjoys reading, dancing, being a basketball enthusiast, and spending time with her family.
