Christine Kelley

1st Grade French Teacher

Born and raised in Bordeaux, France, Christine Kelley brings a wealth of experience and a passion for teaching to her role as a 1st Grade French Teacher at our school. With her authentic French background and extensive educational qualifications, she has been an integral part of our team since 1995.

Christine holds a European Commercial Studies Diploma and an International Trade Diploma, both from France. These qualifications, coupled with her Early Childhood Education Certificate from the USA, provide her with a well-rounded educational background that enriches her teaching methods.

Being multilingual, Christine is fluent in Spanish, in addition to her native French and English. This linguistic diversity allows her to connect more deeply with students and parents from different cultural backgrounds, enhancing the inclusivity of her classroom environment.

In her personal life, Christine is a proud mother of Sam, a former student of our school. Sam has since graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and is now working for EP Solutions, an environmental planning and development solutions company. This personal connection to our school community further deepens her commitment to fostering a nurturing and effective learning environment for her students.

Beyond the classroom, Christine enjoys reading, traveling, and spending quality time with her family and friends. These hobbies allow her to continually learn and bring new perspectives into her teaching.
