Linda Leifer
US Math & STEM Teacher
Linda Leifer is an experienced educator specializing in math and STEM instruction at the International School of Orange County. She holds degrees in Kinesiology and Psychology from McMaster University and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Western Ontario. With a teaching career spanning multiple grade levels, she brings extensive experience in supporting student learning in mathematics, science, and hands-on inquiry-based learning environments.
Linda is passionate about helping students build confidence, curiosity, and problem-solving skills through engaging, experiential learning. She believes that students learn best when they are actively exploring, questioning, and connecting concepts to the real world. With international experience living and teaching in Canada, Singapore, and the United States, she brings a global perspective that enriches her classroom practice. Outside of school, Linda enjoys knitting, crocheting, and exploring creative “kitchen science” projects.
