Jomara, affectionately known as "Joejo" by many, brings a thoughtful and curious approach to early childhood education. With a background in anthropology and linguistics, she combines academic insight with a growing passion for supporting young learners.
She holds an Associate’s degree in Anthropology from Long Beach City College and a Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics from California State University, Long Beach. Since beginning her career in early childhood education in 2022, Jomara has continued to expand her skills through specialized coursework and hands-on experience at Montessori style schools.
Inspired by the developmental milestones she sees children achieve, Jomara is excited to continue growing professionally in a supportive and dynamic environment. She thrives on experiences that broaden her perspective and deepen her understanding of child development.
Outside of the classroom, she enjoys roller skating, diving into the mechanics of language, and spending meaningful time with her family.
