A wonderful and promising first day of school!

Writer: sarahbleksarahblek

It was a very sunny (and hot) first school day for our entire campus yesterday! Although back-to-school can be a stressful time for parents and children alike, it was with big smiles and great impatience that a lot of our students passed the school gate yesterday morning. While parents were welcomed with coffee and juice outside, our students were happy to reunite with their classmates and share their summer memories and travels.

It was for some of our preschoolers and pre-Kindergarten students their very first experience in a school environment, which to the surprise of many parents, was marked with great enthusiasm, and very few tears! New families were able to meet and mingle with current families, demonstrating once more how welcoming our International School of Orange county community is. It was also comforting for our families moving from abroad or across the country, and starting a new life in Orange County, to be greeted by supportive and caring staff and faculty.

I want to take the time to wish our entire student body, faculty and staff a wonderful 2019-2020 school year. We are all looking forward to seeing what this year will bring and watch our amazing students grow and learn.

Make sure to check out our school calendar for the rest of the back-to-school events.

Here is to another great year of learning and friendships!

Warm Regards,

Franck Reynaud

Director of the International School of Orange County.
